Fass Diesel Nationals June 5th 2010

TODAY: 2.6 Indy Qualifier, Diesel Monster, PA/NY/OH

Peterson Stampede Dodge of Nampa has agreed to host the 1st Annual Treasure Valley Bomb Party, June 1st at their dealership located just off the Garrity Exit of Interstate 84, about 20 miles north of Boise. This location will provide us with easy freeway access, plenty of parking and room for all our projects. The folks at Petersons are bomb friendly and do bombing at their dealership. For more information see their website at http://www.stampededodge.com/

We will have access to air hoses, power sources for extention cords and more. We hope to have a show and shine amid all of the projects and meeting and greeting that will be going on.

This will be a great roadtrip for the whole family for anyone in the Northwest. The weather should be beautiful and there's lots of family activities in the area.

pm with any questions and I'll try to answer any questions.

Idaho Bomb Party

Great News and I'll certainly attend! However, I'm still looking for help with the installation of a set of 275 RV Injectors and a set of pillar mount guages... I don't want the dealer to do the work... too expensive and ALL the dealershhips are linked to DC via computer, so ALL the dealers have access to anything done by ANY dealer, so there goes my extended warranty!

If anyone has the tools and the EXPERIENCE and is willing to help me, I can provide room and board for the weekend, I live in Meridian... about 10 miles from Stampede Dodge!

If anyone is interested, please contact me off-line.

Our other interests are IPSC (Combat) shooting, 3-Gun IPSC shooting and motorcycle touring (Honda ST1100).

Thanks,

Richard Davis

Hey, this sounds great, only about an hour away for me! Show and shine, huh? I wonder if the mud will be dried up by then, it'll take a bit of doing to get the inch or so scraped off the truck. I just might even have to wash it for the first time in it's 5 1/2 year life:D Too bad the Magnesium Chloride they spread all over Boise County's dirt roads has rusted my chrome stacks so bad:{ Maybe with some polish I can make 'em look decent for a day...

heck cj, muddy trucks look awesome too. should have a show and tell for the powerwagons that actuallyget used in the hills. show the truck and tell of the adventures of where the mud came from. maybe then i can enter mine in the show.

Idaho Bomb Party June 1-update

Let me know what projects you'd like to get done at the bomb party. So far we've got a few lined up, but there's room for more. Is anyone planning on bringing a small welder? We could also use the necessary tools to do an injector change. We'll have a boost leak tester available and fuel pressure test guages available also.

Would also like an idea of who might be interested in displaying their trucks for the show and shine. Peterson's has agreed to give us room for about 80 trucks and it would be great to pack up every spot available. There will be more room available if needed.

Folks are showing a lot of interest in this event. I've received many pms on this site and several others. So far, we've got one guy coming from 500 miles away and many others from around the Northwest. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Sounds like we'll have some vendors there with their products. Let me know if you are a vendor of bomb equipment and can make it. We'd love to have you.

If you have any questions or suggestions please post here or pm me and also check out the Peterson website and Northwest Bombers website.

muddymess: From the looks of the unit it can be installed either way... my biggest concern is that by using the threaded installation method, the pyro tube will be TOO long!

Any suggestions?

Call me and we can discuss?

It's 2 long a weekend for me

I have the tools for the injector job but the distance is a little to far for just a weekend trip and I don't have any extra vacation to use up.

Hope you guys have fun

STRIPPERS AND BEER

Thought that would get your attention!

The Idaho Bomb Party is coming up fast, only two weeks away and plans are being finalized. We've got several vendors lined up including representatives from Edge and Rip Rook will be bringing exhaust systems, mag hytec covers and other goodies. Also Doug H from Air Bulldog Hoods.

Peterson's has just announced that they will have available Bully Dog Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 5 injectors; Bully Dog Torque Dog Box; new Bully Dog adjustable Box that is similar to the Comp; propane systems; exhaust systems; K&N Filters and Air Systems and many other items all at a discount.

There are plans on a show and shine. Peterson's has generously donated items for prizes, so get those trucks waxed up and ready to shine!

There will also be a prize for the "Muddiest Truck" to honor that truck and owner who come displaying remnants of the previous weekend adventure.

We can't forget the prize for truck with the highest mileage and there will also be one for the truck that travels the farthest distance to attend.

There's still room for projects so let us know what you'd like to get done and we'll try to get it lined up. There's lots of folks coming out who can get the job done. We will need to bring our own tools and pans to contain fluids. Jay has generously agreed to bring a small welder so we will have that available as well.

Throw in whatever you think we might need and come have fun.

Oo.

I wanted to update everyone on the Treasure Valley Bomb Party planned for June 1. We've generated a lot of interest from vendors as well as truck owners and it's going to be a great time for all with a lot of projects getting completed. There's even talk now of forming a local TDR chapter in the Boise area.

Here's a partial listing of the vendors that we've lined up and some of the items that they will be bringing with them:

-Cummins of Boise will be bringing Fleetguard Filters and

Jacobs exhaust brakes amongst other items including the

BHAF

-Rip Rook of Source Automotive is bringing Edge products,

mag hytech products and 4-inch exhaust systems

-A representative from Fast Coolers will be there with a Fast

Coolers display. They have also donated a set of coolers to

be given away.

-Harold Bowers will have his fast idle devices available

-Doug H. from Air Bulldog Hoods will be there.

-Aaron from Edge will be there with Edge products.

-Peterson's will have the Bully Dog Stage 2, 3 and Stage 5

injectors, Bully Dog torque dog box, new Bully Dog

adjustable box similiar to the comp, propane systems,

exhaust systems, K&N Filters and air systems and guages

pillar mounts all available at discounted prices. They have

donated several items for prizes.

We've been working really hard on getting the word out to

everyone about this. Attended a seminar at Cummins in

Boise today and passed out flyers there and had several

people agree to spread the word. It's going to be a great

time!

strippers & beer ?

that's it, I'm coming. Sounds like I'll be assisting on an exhaust install on a '92 truck. This would be a great time to "dodge" shipping charges if anyone else is interested... ... ... ...

Looks like I will...

be able to attend. I can not stay for all day and am not planning on any more bombing while there (best laid plans... ). Perhaps I will be able to put some faces with the names I have been looking at.

There was a suggestion we obtain the use of Firebird Raceway for some grudge matches after the show.

So far, nobody has been able to contact them.

I'm hoping to be there, and a number of us NW Bombers will be there to help our fellow Spuds (I'm a native born Idahoan, actually) have a good turnout.

Brian,

Sorry to see the moderators have modified your picture. Must have been offensive. What a joke that picture has been around for a while. To bad some of US cant lighten up a little. :p is all I can say.

OK Powerwagon...

I will be really bummed now if I don't see :)

I wonder if there will be anyone there that resembles the rest of the "smiles"?

We don't need any of this:-{}
