Question?

my wife(whom really gave it too me when I brought my CTD to her new home a year ago!)told me the most romantic thing I ve ever heard in my life "Honey, I noticed Diesel was a lil cheaper so I filled her up!"Apparently she has been driving it more frequently since Diesel Minded pulled the silencer ring out. (coincidence... I think not. :-laf )I knew she'd come around. Is this implied "permissoin to BOMB"? Oo.

You might be in the market for a new truck. . seems the wife may like yours a lot. You may never get it back. :eek: If my wife could drive the 6spd I am pretty sure I would not have my truck. :{

One guy at work who's wife ran off with his 99 PSD. Worse yet, she came back, but wouldn't give up the truck, so he had to buy a second one.

I never let the Mrs. drive my 1990, since it's a little loose in the front suspension, and it pulls when braking. I did let her drive the 95 home when I bought it. She really likes it, but she's not ready to give up her Passat.

The other day, when driving down the road in the 95, she says to me "There's something comforting in the purr of that diesel". I better keep close tabs on her.

My girlfriend sometimes takes my truck out and will fill it up or at least put 10 or 20 bucks in. Such a sweetheart!

My wife has no interest in driving my truck :{ I have asked her several times if she would like to drive it. She did express some interest to drive when the Jeep is on the trailer being towed :) We will see. Maybe now with the new exhaust on she may want to give it a try :D

i just made mine faster than all get out and she hasnt asked for the keys yet.

the other day she backed it out of the garage for the kids and i felt a strong since of jealousy come over me. but she soon came back in the house complaining about the tinted windows and the grabby hard to push clutch pedal asking how do i drive that thing. HAHA, its mine, all mine!

Sheez, any idea where I could possibly find one like that!!? :(

I get the "I don't know HOW you stand driving a standard in Houston traffic" and "I'm afraid I'll hit someone with that truck" whenever I ask if my wife wants to drive my truck. Her depth perception ain't all that great anyway, so it's just as well.

Cool thing is, though, she wants a diesel as her next vehicle. We're checking out the Passat TDI's. :) I'm halfway to y'all's level!

The Passat is a really nice car. I would fork out the extra $ to buy a Passat over a Camry or Accord.

We got a new one for the Mrs. last year. I couldn't talk her into the TDI :{ but we got the 4 cylinder 1. 8T, with the Tiptronic and AWD. It's great in the snow. :p

I highly recommend the Passat. Weird thing is, a front drive car and it has the motor mounted fore - aft, like a RWD car. :confused:

Traffic in Houston? Last time that I checked they only sit in traffic for a minute then "create a new road"(esp. on get off ramps :-laf ) My lil sister wants a diesel but needs a SUV. Im thinking shes going to look at the Jeep Liberty with the diesel engine. Might wanna check it out.
