It that works so the dash looks ok I would say go for it. If it was me I would replace the top of the dash instead of doing that. There is a lot more work to replace the top section of the dash because in order to do a good job you have to remove the dash. I've done that a few times because of electrical mods I have. It's not that bad of a job once you figure it out.
I don't know. Try Dodge. Or try to google one. A guy on another forum tried to install one without pulling the dash. Made a BIG mess of it because he could not get to the screws that fasten the top to the rest of the dash with the dash in the truck. All that is easy to get at with the dash out of the truck. The must do part of a dash removal is to remove the seats first. Then you have plenty of room to work. I never have anyone around to help me do something like this. In spite of being an awkward thing to handle it's not too bad even doing it by yourself. It can be a big deal depending on how you installed any gauges or other electrical modifications. I installed all that stuff so I can just unplug everything just like the stock wiring. If you decide to do this email me and we can discuss tips and things you may overlook.
