I've decided that I will replace my exhaust, turbo back, without the Cat, NOx, and DPF. 4" SS with muffler, I'm not looking to rattle the neighbor's windows as I drive by. I'm leaning towards the RaceMe Ultra, I like the idea of being able to change power setting on the fly, but have not committed to it yet. I'm currently using Edge JwA CTS2, which will be for sale when I finish the delete.

As another pre-def 2012 owner, I would be curious on how you like the RaceMe and how much of an improvement in fuel economy you see. Keep us updated.

Fuel economy, lower EGT and cleaning up the engine oil are a few of the reasons that I'm going in that direction.

Have you looked into EFILive, you can change tunes on the fly and will support delete's. You can PM me if you need sensitive advise on EFILive. EPA is clamping down hard on tuners of any brand. With EFILive you can tune it yourself if need be, thats the nice thing about EFILive.

IMO, why change on power on the fly, just set it at your most liked HP and upgrade your foot, Todays electronics adapt to power and driving strategy.

The freedom to map your own tunes is nice if your qualified to do so.

I'm gonna delete my 16 once the warranty is up. That is if I still own it by then.....

I was all about deleting my 11 HO DRW but it never gave me the least bit of trouble. Fuel dilution was always less than .05%.

I am even less inclined to delete my 15 as I run full 15k oil changes with excellent reports with no issues.

I only tow a combined 33-35k for 1/2 of my miles driven.

I'm in the same adage, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...that being said when parts start failing out of warranty that require both big dollars AND dealer network to complete repairs....the decision becomes a little harder.

Of course none of this applies to those who don't own a truck outside of warranty
