I've got a delivery date for my 2012

Last Monday I ordered a 2012 2500 Laramie with the works. The dealer told me it would be 6-8 weeks. Well, I called today and asked if the order status had changed. he GM checked for me and said the order seemed to be flying through the system. It now had a status of D1, meaning it had been sequenced for assembly and an estimated ship date was given. From everything he could see, I could have the truck as early as September 5. That would be exactly 5 weeks to the day from the time the order was placed.



I couldn't be happier.

We ordered our 2011 on August 5th, 2010 and took delivery on September 11th, so 5 weeks is certainly possible.

I guess it all has to do with timing. I do know that sold orders get higher priority than dealer stock orders

I placed my order for a 2012 3500 4x4 Laramie pak on 08/09 and was told 60-90 days. So I am hoping your 5 wk timeframe holds true for me as well!!Oo.



The sales guy let my wife drive the Laramie and that resulted in a $2K bump from what I thought would be a Big Horn order... :-laf Its all good, just tryin to do my part to stimulate the economy!

Check back with the dealer and see if a VIN number has been assigned yet. Once it has you can track your order online. Mine is still in D1 status. The website to track your order is:

Just ordered a 2012 on Oct 1st estimate 5-? weeks out. But I did recieve an email direct from Dodge with the following link https://www.ramtrucks.com/vots

They also sent me the last 8 digites of the VIN number and you put in your name and the vin and it gives 8 differnt stages the order can be in for Production Stages. It is not as detailed as the above site, but I think it is somethign new that they are giving customers.
