2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Jack accessory kit

I recently bought a '96 3500 extended cab dually, 2x4, and noticed I didn't have anything to work the jack or remove the spare tire with. I saw, in a truck on a lot, a kit in a vinyl case, under the back seat. Is this the accessory kit, and what's in it? Is it the same for a 2500 as a 3500? I will peruse the recycling yards for one. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks, Bob

My '99 came with it...

I suspect that yours did too when it was new, but it is with the previous owner still. It contains everything you need to lower the spare and change a wheel.



I would recommend a good socket and breakover bar for the wheel changing (tight lug nuts).

The only difference that I'm aware of is the adapter in the case for the duallies on a 3500.
