First post for new member... just ordered 04. 5 3500 a couple days ago and was all set to include the Dodge/Jacobs E brake..... until dealer wanted $1650 to install. I do a lot of hauling in my nursery business, so I'd really like to add on my new truck but thinking this price is high? What have other dealers been charging? Thanks!

I have a Jacobs E Break on mine it came with the truck cost was about $ 1650. 00 . But if anything goes wrong with it or the engine dodge fix it unter warrenty

So far the e-brake is only approved for the six-speed manual transmission. Since you have a business you will want to check into the, "On the Job Incentive" program. This will allow you a $500 incentive allowance toward the Jacobs e-brake. Ask your dealer for the, "On the Job" borchure.

Paid $700 for an unused Jake from a forum classified. Thank you Jesus :)

Now that I'm use to it hooked to ECM instead of hardwiired like my 02 (knothead dealer install  ) I am impressed on how well it handles Teton Pass's 10% grade and corners
