Hey guys, the local college's Diesel Program is about to install my Jacobs E-brake, and I was just wondering, is the fuel-shutoff for the brake run through the computer, or should there be a mechanical actuator switch that mounts behind the accelerator pedal? Im pretty sure it runs through the computer, but if it doesnt I need to know, so I dont take off with it still on and bend push rods!

There is no "fuel-shutoff". The 24-valve ISB E-Brake by Jacobs utilizes pin 20 of the ECM. Pin 20 of the ECM goes to a +12 volt condition when the engine has been in an unfueled condition (foot off the pedal) for approximately 1. 5 seconds, actuating the brake.
