Jaguar needs rebuilt head

I've got a 1990 Jaguar XJ6 that needs a rebuilt head (inline 6 cyl). Mechanic says the head is cracked. He can get a rebuilt head and install it for about $3,500. Anyone got a lead on where I can get one a little cheaper? The one from my Ram won't fit.
