Ok, here is the situation. I got into a lil fender bender. Barely even dented my bumper. But, I noticed my "Jake Brake" did not work after the accident. So, I started messing with it to see what the problem is? I went to the solenoid first. Gave it a little persuasion(tapping on it with a ratchet). Next i tried taking the vacuum hoses from each side of the solenoid plugged the together and the brake turns on. Now, I know the brake still works. Next I follow the cluster of wires coming from the switch inside the cab. Which goes to the a relay(which in turn activates the solenoid. So, I then cut a piece of wire about. 4" long ans start "hopping" the relay. Finally the brake turns on, Also, now the light turns back on when the brake is on. So, I seem to have traced the problem back to the relay. My, problem now if finding the PN for the relay. I have gotten the run around from everyone (cummins, mopar,my local Dodge dealer,Jacobs) HELP! I just need to get this stupid lil relay! Any and all help is appreciated!!!!!!

I take your hopping around the relay as going across the contacts. If this is the case that does not prove a bad relay. You would need to energize the coil to make the contacts. If you have coil voltage and a ground the relay should energize unless the coil is bad. Relays do not usually go bad and is more likely a coil wiring problem.
