:( :confused:

How do ya like that? Packed up my new Jake Brake and sent it back home today. My dealer tried to install it on my 04 6 spd. and the wiring harness on the truck is not compatible. We checked with Cummins and Dodge engineering and the boys at Dodge said to hurry up and wait for the new kit for the Jake. Just thought I'd let you all know in case your waiting for your 04 and Jake to arrive!!! :mad: :{ :{ :{

Had my brake installed yesterday. The dealer is real good and by the book. If it is anthing like my 00 brake, there is no harness. There is one wire that plugs in a PCM blank, one wire to hot and one to the switch. Alll other wires and vacum plugs are attatched to the brake kit. Let us know what you find.

I'm going to see my Dealer tommorow and get more info . The fact that you got yours installed kind of burn's me up. Well I'll keep my cool and find out the details. I should have asked more questions the first time around. Just for clarity is yours a Jake or is it some other brand? :cool:

Northener, I think you ought to find another dealer, or whatever you prefer to call them! I don't believe anything drastic has changed wiring wise on the '04's over the '03's that I can see!!

I happened to be at the dealer today. went to the parts department, and checked the dealer's Dodge accessory master catalog. 2003 and 2004 jake brakes use the same part number (only one part number is listed showing both applications).
