Jake Brake noise

Bought a 04. 5 in March and had the dlr install the jake brake. Brake worked fine but a noise (chirp?) developed so I took it back to dlr where they installed new brake. It also has developed the chirp. Anybody else having thei problem? It sounds like a fan belt chirp when the brake activates or deactivates. Dlr has referred problem to Star. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like situation normal. Mine used to chirp like that. Either it has stopped or I just don't notice it, but I don't think it is anything to worry about.

I get the noise every once and a while too. I don't pay any attention to it. It also makes a cluck every now and again. I thing the seliniod is sticking a litle. I'll though a couple drops of tool oil in the vaccum line to lube it up.
