japan bearings in dana axel

i have a friend that work at a dodge dealer and befor i bought my truck i asked about the truck in general and he real had nothing to say so i thought that it was probably a pretty decent truck, well its not starting out to good but thats life. i had a u-joint that went bad and had to go in to fix it when i took the pig out and looked at the bearing which are junk i found that they are japan, they are the stock bearings this is not what i would have expected from one of the big three but then again thats life is this to be expected in all of d/c stuff. makes me wonder. the only thing my friend has ever said about these truck is we have a bearing problem go figure,but i still love the truck

where did you expect the bearing to be made, the US?

Not that I'm opposed to that Idea but, about the only thing (we) the US makes any more is entertainment (movies and ect. )

I haven't had any problem with Japan made materials, China on the other hand

well yes i quess i did expect them to be us i did not by a toyota but i quess you are right but i still dont like it
