Thanks Bill, I have a BD exhaust on my dump truck, and it sounds good, but is more expensive then the Jardine kit. I might straight pipe this pick-up, and I'd rather spend less since the muffler might be coming out anyway.

Has anyone put one of these systems on their 1st Gen, if so, remarks, irks, problems? I am looking to use their system minus and flak I hear after this post on two of my trucks. Thanks for the ideas, and I know I should just STRAIGHT PIPE it but just humor the muffler idea for a second, yeah right! HA

I put one on my 92 when I had it to eliminate the "pinch" in the factory tailpipe over the rear axle. It was an easy change and everything fit as advertised. The sound wasn't much different--a little more of a rumble and throaty sound under load. I didn't want the straight pipe sound. It didn't help MPG or performance much but did lower EGTs about 100 degrees.
