Trying to avoid buying a new radiator. One of the plastic tanks has a crack in it and it only leaks when the truck gets hot. Looking for something to try and seal the plastic externally. Its not on the seam with the radiator, but right in the middle of the plastic tank... easy to get to...

Thanks for any help.

MarineTex is some pretty awesome stuff. I've done a lot of boat work and seen repairs much worst than what you're looking at done with MarineTex. The most important part of the repair is the prep work to insure a strong bond.

Good Luck

Im sorry, but, if you don't want to worry about it, don't glue it. Get a new aluminum one. I just went through this. My crack was on the crimp side to the tank, the brass craked and soldering was out of the question with plastic so close.

you're sig says you have an investment in this truck adn a $300 radiator is a sorry way to blow an engine, dont risk getting stranded!
