I just got a 96 Grand Cherokee for a price that was too good to pass up. It should make a decent daily driver as its almost done depreciating.
The Jeep has keyless entry as does my Ram. My question - Is it possible to program either the remote from my truck or jeep to operate both vehicles? The truck is garaged, so I don't care if it locks and unlocks as I leave for work in the jeep every day- I just don't want to look like a used car salesman with multiple keyless remotes. The Jeep uses the older square style remote. Are these compatible with the trucks system? Will my truck accept this old remote if I do the procedure for programming a new remote? Any thoughts, or should I just quit being a wuss and put the second remote on my keyring?
