Competition turbo for street class

Competition Vegas Sled Pull Results Mod Class

Well here's the start to my bottomless money pit. It's been a while since my jeep has seen some change, so I figured it was time. Now i'm looking for a donor power plant. The 4. 0 is fine for now but i'm starting to piece togather my 4bt/sm465 Ford D60/GM 14bolt combo. The deck in the back will be painted yellow along with the roll cage(needs some more reinforcement) and front stinger.

Last week I went muddin, almost every person there asked if it had a cumminGs in it. And of course some asked if it has a cummins in it. :D I simply shruged and said not yet. It suprisingly sounds like a non turbo diesel, when your standing behind it of course ;)

the exhaust coming out of them leads me to believe that they're functional...

Workin on getting a video of new years eve, went out for a last run at Lake Geneva Raceway(they had to sell the race track and forests surrounding to developers #@$%! ) and there were a ton of people there with cameras. Now I just have to locate them. Heat is a little weak  but the a/c is ice cold this time of year :D

I meant to ask you... how do you like the Skyjacker kit you have on there (it sure looks like it, not the Rubicon Express long arm kit).
I've heard both sides of the fence on their Jeep kits, and just wanted your impressions.

I have the 8" rock ready double flex. Honestly it's *****. I only run it 5-6 times a year. The rear upper 4 link brackets have broken at least 5 times, finally I stopped replacing them eventhough its got a life time warranty, and took the new one and welded it to the axle mount. Then the whole mount ripped of the axle. When I swithch to 1tons, i'm gonna fab up a 3-link,IMO the only way to go. All 4 shocks have been replaced 2 times. I think fabtec is the way to go, but for what I use it for custom is. Also all 19 heim joints are desperatley in need of replacement. Skycracker quoted me $950 for 19 heims :--) I think for midwest wheeling greaseable urathane is best. And their springs saged down about 2", and my jeep is light(no doors, top, backseat, windshield).

This was the typical response from folks who actually wheel their junk, honestly. Mall crawlers all say that it's the cat's meow.

19 Heims for $950? We're not charging enough! They're about $24 depending on size (most of them are less).
What size you need (bolt hole x shank size)? We sell QA1 and a few others. Have you looked into the RE rebuildable Super Flex joints or Currie's Johnny Joints? We sell those as well, and they're a great replacement for Heims, as everyone knows that the rod ends get clunky after a while... cheaper ones almost immediately.

I'm lookin into the rebuildable ones. I think curries is greasable, but gonna wait until mid march, no point in having them sit in the trailer till then. BTW were gonna run w/o assist on the other jeep. Hopefully it will last until next year, then it'll be tbi'ed and full hydro'ed. There is the one front lateral trac bar upper heim that i need soon, just to move the jeep around. will pull it out soon and get you the measurements for the rebulidable greased one.
