Well Friday morning on my way to work I think I had a Jelling problem. I had been plugged in all night. Here is what happened when I left home it was 17 below, I have 7 miles of country road and then hit a freeway. Right as I entered the top of Weber Canyon(for you locals) my thermo in the truck showed 14 below. I had just passed a semi and was running at 70 MPH, the EGTs and boost where right where they always run. Then the truck starts loosing speed no boost and EGTs dropping I pressed down on the peddle and nothing. It dropped to 55 MPH and then stayed there but still would accelerate. I was able to maintain 55 but no more for almost all the way down the canyon then all of the sudden the power was back. At the bottom of the canyon it was 5 above zero.
Just last week it was way warm only down into the high 30s at night and 65 during the day. It makes me wonder if they had already went back to the summer blend.
I have since added some Power system treatment.
Today the truck runs just as great as normal. Does jelling hurt any thing???
