Competition Jesup, GA Truck Pull

Wayne Co. Young Farmers is having their fall truck pull on Nov 21 and 22 in Jesup, GA. For complete pull information: EEP Pulls Info



It looks like there are going to be several "Big Boys" coming out to play.

I'm hoping (not hopping) this will be a good end to the season. It won't be long and we'll see if the upgrades helped.

This is a 1st class pull, we hope to see you come out and support the Young Farmers.

As of right now, I plan on being there, entering, but probably not "competing" . Going over to work on the "other" white Dodge tomorrow, hopefully we will be finished in time, if not, I'll havta send Dave Bratt, and his stock HX-35 equiped truck down to take care of Gene, LOL.

I thought last week I would be able to make it. Now, I am quite sure I wont make it. Probably next year.

Just found out about the pull. I thought the pulling season was over. Do they always pull this late? Might come out--dunno if I'll be ready to pull yet.

Unless I shoot two bucks right at daylight, I'm not going to make it. That's the TN deer season opener. As long as I'm alive I'll be in the woods that day every Nov.

I wish my truck would be up and running, but I am just getting the pistons in sometime end of this week. Oh well, I can't wait to see the big boys!!

Guys, from the things I have heard, this is shaping up to be a rematch of the Muncie/ Scheid open classes, plus a few trucks that did not make it to those pulls.



In other words, MUST SEE.

I have no doubt that there is going to be an excellent class of Dodges there. I'd really like to see some diversity, maybe there will be some Ford and Chevy guys from down south hook.

Franklin and his guys always do a great job with the pull. Maybe next year we can talk them into adding a show and shine on Saturday.

Special Request: I just got a message from Diesel Darryl Poole (the other White Dodge) and he informed me that Curtis Aldridge was just coming out of emergency surgery. He had a triple bypass today. It looked like the surgery went well. I'll update you as I get info. Needless to say Darryl and Curtis will not be coming to GA. Please keep Curtis and his family in your prayers.

Update now that I have the rest of the story... .....

Darryl’s truck is under construction and Curtis is his pit crew. Well, to make a long story short Darryl’s pit crew laid down on him. The doctors informed Curtis that he had 3 arteries blocked 100% and he needed open heart surgery. So what does Curtis do? He tried to convince the doctor that he should wait to perform the surgery until the 24th of November so that he will be able to attend the pull in Jesup with us. You can’t get much more serious about pulling than that! Well Curtis lost and the doctor won. But there is a good side to this story. Darryl said Curtis is recovering well. He should be home in about 6 days. Let’s keep him in our prayers. To drop him a note:
