jetta diesel inj pump

the pump was leaking more fuel than it was burning so i yanked it out the other night, can i buy a rebuild kit for it or do i have to have a shop do it. . also somewhere i can find prices for a pump??i do not want to go to a dealer

This site has some parts for resealing pumps. Maybe call them to see if they can help with getting some for yours. I have ordered parts from them before for my 03 jetta TDI and have gotten good service from them.

that would be a ve pump, the same type as first gen cummins. any bosch shop will have everything you need. some leaks are easier to fix than others. where was it leaking from?
