I tried to send this to you via e-mail, but it was returned as undeliverable:

Your Computer Is Sending Viruses!!! HELP

-- email address removed -- - your computer has sent me no less than 75 e-mails this weekend with the w32. SircamWorm@mm virus attached. Each file is large and you caused my internet service provider to close my ability to receive e-mail.



I've spent HOURS cleaning off the infected e-mails, but they keep coming. I'm sending this e-mail from a hotmail account so that I don't invite any more infected e-mail from you.



PLEASE TURN YOUR COMPUTER OFF (OR AT LEAST YOUR ACCESS TO THE INTERNET) until you have this virus cleaned off of your computer. If you do not have an antivirus package on your computer, you can buy a good one at any office supply store - we use Norton Antivirus (about $40).

A virus is serious business... especially to those of us that would have to hire someone to come fix/remove it for us. Thanks for the heads up on the name of the virus...

Did you notify earthlink (I believe it is Sprint now) about this problem? They need to suspend the email account and notify the account holder by snail mail.



Antivirus S/W is available for less than $10. 00 with mail in rebates, etc. I prefer McAfee VirusScan myself. The only problem with antivirus S/W is that you must update them <strike>periodically</strike> regularly.

Yes, I did and Earthlink helped us get the e-mails stopped. Sorry for the delay in responding, I was at a car show last week.
