Yep, you got it right. I just got our team name registered with the Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure website. Since the CPSC and the RMTDR work so well together, I thought it only fitting that both clubs be included in our registered name. The official team name is CO Power Stroke Club/RM Turbo Diesel Registry.
The race is October 8th and while I would LOVE to see you all out there walking it with me, I understand busy schedules. Soooo..... if you cannot do the race, then consider making a donation through our team! You can actually join the team and just click on the "Sleep In" option. That way, you are included on the team, but don't need to show up.
Then on race day, we can all wear our CPSC or RMTDR shirts during the walk.
This is a very special event, as I have done it for the past 2 years ever since my Grandma, Nana, passed away due to cancer. My best friend also lost her Mom to this cancer at the age of 56. After going through these hard times with them, it is so inspiring to see the survivors in their pink shirts and the patients being pushed in their wheelchairs by families across the finish line.
Help others to cross that finish line and beat this crap!
Thanks!
Shay
