Jordan Brake Controller Install

Well I rec'd my brake controller from Jordan yesterday - WOW what service. I call on Monday afternoon and it was waiting on me to come home yesterday. I am hoping to install it this weekend. I was planning on putting it in the ashtray space like KLENGER has his. What other places has anyone installed them? How long should it take to install? Anything I have to konw about that may cause me troubles as I put it in that the directions don't mention? Thanks

I placed mine on the lower edge of the dashboard directly in front of the brake pedal arm. This actually allowed me to use an existing dash panel screw hole as one of the mounting screw holes for the Jordan controller. The other advantage is that I only used a very short section of control cable sheathing, thus minimizing "drag" in the control cable - the actual cable has a straight run directly to the brake pedal arm.



The disadvantage of this location is that it isn't easy to see or reach during normal driving, but I've never needed to reach for it after it has been set up correctly.
