I can't seem to get a real smooth action on the movement of the cable. When I come to a normal stop I may have about 1. 5 - 2. 0 amps on the readout. Pressing the brake a little harder does not change the reading. Press the pedal just a little bit more and suddenly the readout jumps up to 5 amps and I really feel the trailer brakes come on.
I've got the display module mounted to the right of the ash tray, the cable sheath comes out of the bottom of the unit and curves to the left. It travels more or less horizontally along the lower edge of the knee bolster and then curves around under the bottom of the bolster to the pedal. Do I have too many bends in the cable? or what?
The actuator on the brake pedal bracket has a spring in it - should I tighten the nut on the end of the actuator to put more preload on the spring? What about lubing the cable inside the sheath?
We're leaving next Friday and I'd like to have it working a little better than it is now.
Thanks for any advice you Jordan owners can give me.
