JR whipped up a little set of injectors, and the early results are awsome. These are EDM's that do flow. He tried to scare me, but they are that bad IMO.

They have some great low end, and mid range responce. Can't wait till I upgrade my air system a little more so that I can feel it on the top end more.

Laid a good "chip" going into 2nd with the box on 1x1 too. :D

Just thought I'd throw this out there for anybody sitting on the fence about injectors at the moment.

Ray,

You won't be disappointed. I am still loving mine. :D

Level 9? Man I'm on DEFUEL mode on the comp, and it STILL breaks them loose. :D

Don M's EDM are the now and work great. Get yourself a set of them and you won't regret it! They work amazing and make HUGE power over a regular injector and have less EGT!

Like so many things, injector upgrades aren't generic. Some are better than others. Rather than seat of the pants, trust the Dynojet to tell you what really works. :)

Can anyone equate hp to series # ie

2's = xxx hp?

I am interested in towing heavy and are there EDM's specifically setup for towing?

I'm looking for EDM in about 100 - 120 hp ie instead of DD3's

I think I read a TW2, meaning towing? 2=??? hp

Thanks in advance,

Bob Weis

Joe,

I agree to a point. I never said what these were rated at though. But here is a "hole" in your theory. The power stroke "race" truck of Diesel Innovations dynoed at 346hp, weighs in at 5,900 lbs, and runs 12's all day long at 104mph. Do the math.

Went to Dallas this weekend, and managed to get 19. 36mpg averaging between 70mph and 80mph, with a brief sprint to 120mph spanking a vette.  This was to DFW and back again, no tricks like only going 50 miles then filling up, etc.

Bob,

Contact JR and find out. He'll be more then willing to talk to you all day long about this kinda stuff. I know that Don has his own rating system, and JR has his own. Just like DD and BullyDog have different ones also. :)

Jamie,

I'm not knocking Don's, they work well from what I hear. Just that I have first hand experance with JR's. :)

I can't drink and drive with this thing man. It would turn into a "Hold my beer and watch this stuff... . " kinda thing. :-laf

ENOUGH WITH THE PM'S!!! ;)

Actually if you have a questions please feel free to e-mail me with them, and I'll answer as best I can. Other then that, contact JR. :)

I have been asked by SEVERAL people, and since I got them from JR, not DI, I THINK I can list how much they are. JR sells the Nuclear Nozzles for around $700. That's what I paid for them, plus a core charge. :)
