Juice/Attitude

I am just wondering about what kind of boost readings that I should get out of my truck with the attitude turned up to say 4/5?? I don't have anything to snivle about I am just curious.

I am seeing a max of 36 lbs continuous when I am running across the passes in the Rockies with the trailer hooked. I have seen it bump up to 38 lbs but, only briefly at the beginning of the climbs.

Thats wierd - Then again, the edge juice modifies the wastgate from the ECM, maybe. .



Sometimes I just hate electronic stuff, what was SOOO wrong with a mechanical wastgate??

Mine will hit 36psi real fast in 4 or 5. 32psi in 2 and 1, I haven't spent any time in 3. These are all indicated pressures.

I didn't think the Edge/Attitude for 04. 5+ cmae with an adjustable elbow. It's an electronically wastegated turbo.



At least, I didn't get one with my Edge/Attitude.



There is a setting for max boost. Are you using a new Edge/Attitude, or did you have the old one re-programmed? If so, maybe, the max boost setting is lower, by default.

You are right, the 04. 5's have that goofy electronic one

I think when I had my Juice/Attidute installed that I had the MAX Boost set at 36psi. I would see it spike a little higher than that before it backed down a little. Turn off the defueling by hitting enter twice fast and set number of minutes to not backoff. Then do your tests. Then you should see real max boost numbers. I think I saw right at 40psi when bypassing backoff. Now with the Xzillaraider race I see 43psi max.

Thanks very much I think that I still have a bad injector but I am still getting between 32 and 36. I have never turned off the backdown and run it yet so I will have to try that later.



If I have to get a new turbo what would you suggest???? Oo.
