Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Juice related to whining noise

Need some help finding what is making a whining noise. My truck is a 02' 6-speed with edge juice w/attitude just installed a week ago. The whine sounds much like a supercharger whine on a gas engine. It just started yesterday coming home on highway. I had to make a quick move around a tanker when I heard it for the first time yesterday. Whining only happens under load,like on the highway in 6th gear. You just start to here it around 20-22#of boost and gets louder as the boost goes up, with it really whining at 32#. The whine is coming from the passenger side and is louder after the truck is really warmed up. Its not that loud until things really heat up. Could this be a bearing in the turbo?I was running 3-3 on the juice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

possibly mine did the same thing. I noticed some slight scoring on the turbo housing. Rebuild kits are about $100

I would bet its your turbo... . bearings or an impeller touching the housing. Look close at it... ... ... .....

does it go away if you turn the edge off? i had a whine outta mine before i upgraded the turbo. . turn it up to 5x5 and see how it sounds :-laf
