Lions Super Pull of the South - Chapel Hill - July 22 & 23

October 15th Virginia Motorsports Park

Hey Mark,

Thank you and your parents for the hopitality yesterday. Enjoyed it. Congrats on the new job and a happy belated birthday to you. So, we making this an annual event?

Jan. meeting is at Gap's/Joe's. July meeting is at Mark's. How about it?

Andy, happy birthday to you, man.

Later... ... ... J

Yeah, THANKS to the whole "GOT SMOKE?" family for putting up with us this last Saturday.

I didn't realize until it was over that we failed to "pass a hat" for donations to defray the costs. Post your mailing address Mark. Maybe a couple of bucks will come in.

We have discussed this before and think that an "anonymous" tip jar would be a good idea. It allows everyone to contribute according to their means and pocketbook for the day--and the host doesn't have to know who gave what.

We just forgot that part this time.

Thanks

Thanks for hosting. Enjoyed meeting all. Looking forward to future meetings and getting to know everyone and their rides better. I have to admit their were some nice looking trucks their. Makes my stocker feel weak. Will have to work on that as the funds become available.

Anthony

How do you get your truck info to come up on your posts?

Hover your mouse above the "Discussion Forums" button at the top, scroll down to "User Control Panel" click that, then in the column on the left hand side scroll down till you see change/edit signature. That will take care of that! ;)

sweet. tell me where to put it? How do I get it to you?

'bout the only thing I know to do with it is to FTP it up somewhere. Won't e-mail through any provider I've got... .

Andy - I'm gonna have to think on that one...

Was hoping that you would be able to email it, but I didn't figure it would let you send an attachment that big.

HAY, I saw more that one camera out there. Can't somebody post a single image?

Andy can't you pull a shot or two from the vid?

I need a couple of CD copies. Save a lot of tire that way. Just show 'em the vid. :D

Here is a screenshot of about 3/4 through the tire melting. Paul and Mark are bird watching. Do they not see that big freaking diesel truck in front of them ? Andy, I won! :)

Now, just one minute. Don't think I'm being reckless with money. Them tires -with all the white smoke peeling off them- were purchased for $10 each. ;) :p

It all smells the same. :-laf

Andy is going to get me a copy of the vidya, and then I can put new tires on and just let folks watch the vidya. :D

I'll call you Joe.

Hey folks, although my fancy new hybrid tele/sat internet service hasn't been set up yet, I went ahead and gots irfanview and can squeeze the meeting photos down to public forum size.

Reinstalling XP tonight to see if networking problems can be worked out for the ISP deal. So I may be off the 'puter for a while.

So here's Stephen and his truck, the chapter beard contest, and some cool t-shirts.
