July 29 Northeast Event/Truck Race

I have talked to the custom shop owner in Aberdeen MD and he is willing to host a meeting of the TDR members. He is giving us a great discount on the Toro spray in bedliners. He would like to do something in the shop as a tech. tip. Maybe a bed liner? Two doors down is a injection pump shop. I still need to talk to the owner of that shop and see if he could do some demo for us. He does do the spill port timing of the p7100 pumps. I might have mine done that day. Anyhow the buck motor sports park is holding their Monster Truck Showdown. The kids will like this. They are also doing the street truck 2wd and 4wd drag racing and 4wd truck pulls. The events starts at 7pm. Those of us that are going to race need to be there early. Tech is from 3pm till 6pm. The gates open a 5:30pm for fans. They have food and bathrooms and its a fun time. No Alcohol permited on the race grounds. They do inforce this.

I need to know if anyone is intrested in coming out for the day. I talked to Ron and basicly told him if I couldn't get 20 to 25 people to come that I wasn't going to bother doing the meeting/tech display at his shop. So if your intrested let me know. There are two campgrounds around here that my parents say are acceptable of "Mom's" standards. I have info on both. Also I can get a list of hotels in the area if anyone is intrested. I will be going to the race even if this day dosen't happen. Hi GTSJOE, sounds like you're going to have to talk to Mike about putting in a gov. kit, that way at least you'll be able to pull half as many rpm's as your Viper #ad

By the way the AM event are off due to lack of intrest. I'm not going to have people set aside their day for an event if I can only get 1 person that might stop by, Sorry but I talked to the shop owner the other day and he agreed with me on this one. I will still be at the pulls that night.
