Is it possible to jump start another vehicle with our CTDs without damaging the elecrical systems. I need to jump start my wifes Suburban this morning. It has the 454 eng.

TIA- for any quick responses.

Yes,

We have a 12 volt system, but just use the two batteries for cold starting... Just hook one battery from your truck to the suburban as you would when jumping any vehicle... it'll be fine.

I jump started my 93 Suburban with my CTD a week ago and have not had any problems. Since I bought the CTD the Suburban does not see much action.
