Is there any way to move this to the top of the page. When I get done reading the messages, I like to mark the forum read. It would be nice to be able to use the jump without having to scroll to the bottom of the page? Thanks in advance!

It could be moved up to the top of the page. However, we haven't gotten this request from anyone else. I'm reluctant to put more information at the top of the screen because users running at low resolutions (640x480) already have nearly an entire screen full of just the header. Also, the more changes we make to the basic forum functionality the more difficult future software upgrades will be. If it's something that many people want it can be done though.

Thanks Steve. I like it at the bottom so I can go back to a forum after posting. Hitting the back button gives you the page has expired notice. Only other alterative besides rapid back clicking was going to the TDR Roundtable page and picking a forum.

Do you know if alot of people use the "Mark this Forum Read" link?



Maybe you could change the way it works, instead of taking you back to the forum you are marking read, it could take you to the forum list. I never understood why it took you back to the forum you are marking read anyway.
