Jumpy Front End/First Service

Guys - Truck is totally stock. More than once, I've hit a few bumps (the same spot on the highway), and, the truck seems to jump and pull to the right.



Really scared me the first time it happened. Has this happened to anyone else? Checked the tire pressures and all four are running at 50 psi.



I'm scheduled for the first service tomorrow. Anything special I should ask them to check?



How does it work with TSBs? Do I need to request a specific TSB number, or, will the do whatever needs to be done?



How about softare updates? I've got a build date of 4/04. Are there any updates I shoule need?

Sounds like you need to replace/upgrade your steering stabilizer. I would reccomend the Rancho 5000. I had one for over 60K miles on my '02 and it worked great. I would try that first before you ask about any TSB's. Should be very easy to find too.
