Annual Mopar Show

Open Invite For Fireworks Show.

Yea, but we already have a pigpen!!

Hey Tom, can we persuade you to bring some seafood again? Straight from Maine was pretty darn good. Otherwise, we'll have to buy local...

My local Stew Leonards already has sweet corn, so I may as well bring that. Anyone got a jones for some ribs?

Who bought a grill for the campfire last time? Was that Mactruck? perhaps we could bring it again?

What else are we bringing?

Whasup. Looks like I'll be there. Hows about some potato salad, pasta salad, bean salad... . etc... . Got a good little shop in town here for that kind of stuff.

work on cummin (diesels) and watch barn chicks on stripper poles in a firehouse:rolleyes:

:-laf

MTE- yeah, i can get seafood. what do you want? clams, chowder, shrimp (yuck), scallops, etc. ? it doesn't look good for lobster- my dad seems to think it's too much hassle for getting them off billy right now as he's busy. i can anything else really.

i can get lobster from one of the local places, but it'll be expensive for everyone who wants it. lobster rolls can be had too, but they're around $8 or so depending. i have no problem doing it that way, it'll just be more expensive for those that want some.

any requests or anything, let me know

cell- 207-807-5648, call anytime.

Tom said: "any of you had scallops wrapped in bacon while cooked over a grill?"

Actually, I try to avoid any circumstances that involve me being fried, boiled, grilled or otherwise cooked. (Notice I didn't say baked..... haha :-laf )

At any rate - I have had that hoar-derve... . :D ... . before... . it's pretty good stuff.

are you a scallop? do people actually put you in pots and boil you?;)

hey, i sent Deo a PM, but he hasn't responded yet.

WARNING: This thread is heading WAY off topic...

Deo has odd work hours - you'd be better off calling him. I'll PM you his digits.

Hrmm... . if I were considered to be seafood, what would I be..... Can I be a car on the sea floor that all the fisherman snag their nets on?

They may not be fishing for me, but they'll eventually get their nets caught up in my rusted metal.

Matt

(what the heck am I thinking?!)

Congratulations Holeshot. Good luck with your future. Can't make the cookout. Have to pit father - in- laws boat in the water. Don't ask but it's an all day affair. :{

I again won't be able to make this meet either. This summer is turning out to be one of the busiest in a while. I have a family party to go to.

MTE... do you know where we are in the park?? Hopefully, we can get the same place?

BATMAN!!! Pull your head out of your cave, you coming or what??

I'll bring the burner and the 30 quart cooker for the corn!

Hey Bigdig. It's lucky for you I won't be there. That way you wom't have to bow down to me. I'll tell your old man on you.

Hahahahahahahaha!:D

Scott called last night to say he'd reserved the park. I don't know where the locale is, but I don't think it will be a secret for long... :D

Tom, scallops sound awesome, I can understand that lobster is just too expensive right now. Anybody want steamers or raw clams?

If you get steamers Tom, could you soak 'em in a bucket of salt water and corn meal? It's a great trick for getting 'em to spit out the sand.

I also need to start a count of who's coming... just to give us an idea of how much army we have to feed. Can the attendees sound off, with an, "I'm in!"?

Thanks guys,

MTE
