June 2nd Dyno and Drags

The 1st annual Ozark Blackout will be held this June 2nd at Ozark International Raceway. The dyno will be provided by Floor It Diesel Performance with the rate being $55. 00 for 3 pulls. The drag racing classes are a little sketchy but a Pro Street style class and 2 bracket classes are tentatively being scheduled. 1 bracket for autos and 1 for manuals. Brians truck service in Arkansas is having an open house that weekend and will be bringing several Ford heavy hitters up including their 11 second 7. 3. It's about time we had something like this around here, sounds like alot of fun. BTS put on a good dyno day last year but the truck pull got rained out I'm looking foward to it.

I've spoken with the track owner about trying to schedule it for the 9th. And I also dropped him a line that John won't be there that weekend so he would loose the dyno portion of it. John had forgotten about it being Indy like I had also.

Kinda what I was thinking... Can't miss Indy The next weekend or later in the summer might have a better turnout.

Track owner has moved the date to June 9th. And Floor It will be there with the dyno as well. I'll post info on the race payouts later. They will be based on not only entrance fees but sponsorships.

There will also be a truck pull in Lead Hill Arkansas on the Friday the night of the the 8th. So you can pull 1 day and race and dyno the next.
