I just got this in my mail. I knew GM was working on a new Colorado, and that it's basically the Traverse SUV ""El Camino-ized" They made a cab and bed on the SUV platform. The big news for us here is that It's supposed to have a "Duramax" 2.8L I4 Diesel. I am assuming this is the same engine used in the Diesel Cobalt, which is getting good reviews.

Chrysler can do the same thing with the Durango and have something with what resembles a real powertrain. HELLO--- DODGE!

It is exciting all the diesel options. One of the mags was reporting 30 diesel powered vehicles coming up this year. A lot of them were luxury cars though way past what I could spend my money on.

I love our Mountaineer but I have to say I'd ditch it in a heartbeat for a diesel powered SUV.
