Just as a follow up to my "injector" issues...
As many of you might remember, I was plagued by mystery issues that I believed stemmed from an injector. After several months researching, I was convinced it was a solenoid causing my symptoms... the injector bodies were replaced and that seemed to solve the problem.
It has been about a month and everything has been as perfect as you could hope for... new injector bodies have solved my issues. I have started the truck at near 0*F unassisted without a single hiccup. I just returned from a 900 mile run from Georgia to Pennsylvania (only three stops during that run), everything performed well.
I emailed lmills, and it seems they did indeed find a questionable solenoid in my injector set.
I just wanted to follow up with that since it was more/less left hanging without explanation. Again, many thanks to lmills (Mid-Atlantic Diesel) and DonM (Formula 1 Diesel) for going above and beyond.
