Geaux Saints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a CPS from a reputible dealer last week and it cam in this week faster than expected. THe on only bummer is they charged me 19$ shipping and the postage sticker on the box says 2. 20$ :-{}

Should I contact them and fight this matter :confused:

I'm not happy :-{}

Often times shipping means shipping & handling. The company has to pay the guy who gets the box down, fills the order, puts the label on and take it to the post office.

I guess Piers used to drive to the states from BC to ship stuff so it wouldn't get stuck in customs.

I bet the shipper did the same thing.

19. 00 is correct for express mail and 18. 25 if you do it online with click n ship.

Judging by the postage on the box they did not ship it via Express mail, but that may be what he was getting billed for.

It seems to me, than any more shipping and handling are just another term for extra profit. Nothing gripes me more than being abused on "shipping charges". For petes sake just add it to the cost of the item!

I agree. I stay away from ebayers that have set shipping charges or handling fees too.

I expected somewhere around 10$ for shipping so an extra 9$ isn't going to kill me. I saved way more than that by buying online VS the dealer!

I second that, 0. 99$ for an item and 35$ for shipping :eek:

The reason they do that is you don't pay paypal fees on the shipping ;)

I'm not sure about the Paypal fees. I believe you pay the Paypal fees no matter what. However you can avoid eBay fees by doing this.

You pay paypal fees no matter what the moneys for.

The reason people do the . 99 or . 01 cent auctions is to attract buyers...

I can't blame them. I appreciate someone who can quote me a flat rate shipping price up front rather than buy and guess as to what the joker wants to charge for shipping.
