Just bought edge ez

Hi guys, I just bought an Edge EZ for my 2003 from the Truck Show in Louisville today. I installed it in the lot. My box is revision 3 built in dec, 2003 . Is it capable of the hidden levels, 5 or 6??

How do you set the jumpers if it is?



It has good top end power, but hardly any down low.

BRayls is right. . My temps are hotter on this level then on level 4. I've been running the "secret" level for about 10k now with now problems except for wearing down my tires

Clayton do you know if the secret setting is equall to the old boxes level 6 or is it equal to level 5?



It sure feels hotter than just one level up. Oo.

RankRam. . It's the same as level 6 on the old box. So it's 80hp. . mine doesn't run to much hotter but you can tell a difference.

Could one of you guys please explane the jumper setting for this secret level I have my ez in front of me and I think I have it but I amnot sure. Do you use only one jumper, on the first set of posts on the right hand side?

Level 6

I believe on the newer boxes they gone away with level 5 I think they have a level 6 ( X:: ) Please let me know if I'm wrong. This is what I have mine set on.

2 Questions:



1. If this "level 5" that used to be level 6 is only 80 hp, what was the hp of the old level 5. It seems that level 4 is 70 hp by edges claim.



2. assuming that I go to this level 5/6 with just one connector, do I keep one on the left side somewhere, or put it away for safekeeping

The old level 5 was 75hp. People call it level 5 on the newer boxes because there isn't a 6th stage. . just 1-5 or 40-80hp. . the left set of prongs are inactive and that is where I keep my other jumper when I'm not using it.

Yes you are on level 5 which is 80hp. There is no level six on the newer boxes.

Six would be nothing because there is no level 6 only 5 and yes you have the pins right... enjoy your new found power

One quick question on Level 5. You say the right side pins are inactive but level one (stock) and level 2 (slight increas?) use those pins. I tried level 5 today and only saw about an extra 100* in EGT but sure had more of a kick to it!

::. ::: , the left side is not active and only for storage of the jumpers. right side makes the adjustments. when the jumpers are on the left they are not in use. when looking from the view I show.
