Well guys I got a chance to give my 08" a good run since my daughter decided to stay down east and go to school there. Missing one key item - her car!
Being the nice dad that I am I loaded her car on a flat deck and drove 40+ hours back to Quebec. Average MPG on the computer was 15. 3. Noticed lots of regens tho with the egt between 700 and 850 peaking at 1100 during a regen. I had hoped to see higher temps on the steep hills around lake Superior!!
On the flip side I loaded up a mess of lumber from the family farm and really gave her a work out. Still regening a lot, even with the higher egt's. Any ideas?
I've also developed a "grinding" sound in the clutch, when I shift. My initial thought is the throw out bearing? Any other possible causes??
Oil level is up and I am going to change it. BADP here I come, given that the oil must have been diluted with diesel from the regen process... What a F'scked up way of doing things!!
Of course, blowing away a GM 2500 HD towing a dinky trailer and golf cart on a steep hill WAS worth it!!:-laf
Thanks as always folks!
