I knew I had those controls when I took mine home....but I didn't know about the two buttons in the center (I've already forgotten what they do) of the volume and track select "rocker" buttons until three years later. ;)

I'm guilty as well. Took me at least a year to realize those controls were there on my wife's Jeep. Still don't use them when I drive it...

The right hand middle button cycles between sources, FM1, FM2, AM, SXM, etc

The left hand middle button in radio or sxm mode cycles through the presets.

Wish you could program them to do what you wanted. would like to have a mute button on the center of the volume controls instead of presets.

Oh man, the steering wheel radio controls and power drivers seat are the only two things I wish my '16 tradesman had.
The steering wheel audio controls can somewhat be easily added to any Tradesman. They’re simply plug and play.

The airbag must be removed though. I had a friend in AL do a steering wheel swap on my ‘14 RAM 3500......but I had my nephew add them on to my 2018 RAM 4500 Cab & Chassis.

I would really recommend to everyone with a new Truck to read thoroughly the Owners Manual.
This new Trucks have so many hidden Easter eggs that on never will find nor use for Years, and that's sad because he paid for all of them.

For example the 2- step TCS Button with the long and short press functionality.

I kind of wondered how difficult it would be to add them, good to know. Do you know if the BCM would need to be updated or was it "plug and play"?

This is so funny I had to admit it. After 9 months and 12,000 miles I found the radio controls on the back of the steering wheel, or as the lady in my radio says steewing wheel. It's a lot easier now on bumpy roads.

LMAOOO!!! To funny garyp285, THANK GOD I WASNT THE ONLY ONE!!!! Happy thanks giving fellas

At least I’m not the only one that finds it hard to believe there are still folks that refuse to read the manual. This isn’t the ‘70’s when the most complicated thing on a new truck was setting the push buttons on AM radio. Come on fellows.....

For anyone that wants to add steering wheel audio controls, Steve White motors sells a kit. As gsbrockman stated a few posts up, it simply is plug and play. It's a small thing, but it sure is nice to have them again. Thank you Mr. Brockman for putting that on my radar.
