Just got a build date

I just got a built date for my Dually and it will be produced in Mexico the 12 of August. My dealer is also receiving 2 Hemis and they have been built but not released for shipping.

Just thought I'd share good news with you guys so you might know when this trucks will be available at your local dealer.

Barry I have not got the invoice yet. My dealer said he has got no prices yet, everything on the computer is N/C (I wish).

He also said that he receives the invoice 2 days after is built so as soon as I'll have it I'll copy and paste it over this board. I have got nothing to hide and my dealer will sell me this vehicle at invoice NOT MSRP and I will get the 0% financing. So in a way it is a good time to buy now instead of waiting for the 2004. 5, maybe then the 0% will be gone.



If you want to speculate then a loaded 4x4 should be in the 38K-40K range MSRP. And a 4x2 with the survival necessity such as power window and lock and just the regular stuff I would expect 29. 5K .

in US, that's about $36,040. 70.



If it WERE Mexican Pesos it would be around 5,853. 40 US dollars!!! A person can still dream right?

I just ordered a new 1 ton dually today with every factory option except the little front air dam. They said it should be here on the 16th of October, their first vehicles are scheduled to be here on the 4th of October. With this thing fully rigged, the MSRP is 43,850. Unless you get some of the aftermarket goodies right off from the dealer, this is the absolute max that these babies should sell for in the good ole US of A. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Has anyone actually witnessed prices in the chrysler build computer in the USA? I'm waiting to order one until they have prices, and when I checked earlier this week all the prices were still not in the computer.



My dealer (who is a great guy but could of course be wrong) said there were prices briefly last week, but they were in error and the prices were removed after a day or two.

Asked a few dealers to price a 3500 SWR and one said he could not get the code to take. He could get the dual and the 2500 to take. Don't know what the deal is. Saw the dealer listing of all the codes and it looked like the dual rear wheel is an option package. Still waiting for responses from other dealerships. My decision to buy is based strictly on the numbers - if I don't like it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my '99 - and it makes noise.

DHess - From what I've seen, the 3500 SRW/DRW deal works like this (I've built a 3500 SRW on their computer, just no prices yet). If you want a shortbox 3500 (quad cab of course), it's only SRW, no need to specify. Unlike Ford you can't order a dually short box. If you pick a long box 3500 model (quad or regular cab), it's a dually by default unless you specify option code AR9, which gives you a credit and turns it into a SRW.



At least that's what I saw in the mopar ordering computer at my dealership. I've got a quad cab 3500 SRW optioned out, but not ordered because it had no prices in the computer yet. . Just waiting for that. .
