Picked 'er up yesterday afternoon. Been driving all over the place since :) Got lucky that my dealer was able to find this one at another dealer in NY. Seems that a plain-jane, reg-cab, long-box 4x4 with NV5600 is hard to find :-laf  This is my first new vehicle. I'm pretty stoked. :D

Here's a couple of pics:

So, after driving it for a while, she has about 500 miles now, I've got a couple of quesitons... ... ...

1 - When I get on it some (1/2 throttle or better) the turbo surges a bit. About 1 huff per second or so. The sound is gradual, kind of a smooth woosh woosh. It will huff two or three times and then smooth right out. Is this normal?

2 - There is some noise coming from the transmission. (at least it sounds very much like it's coming from the trans) When I'm in gears 1 - 4 or reverse it's making a sort of gear rattle growl sound. It's not particularly loud, but definitely noticable. It's most pronounced when at or below 1500rpm and there is a load on the trans. If I just let off on the throttle and coast, the sound goes away completely. It makes the sound at takeoff in 2nd as well. It also makes a very similar sound when idling in neutral although it's quite faint then. Is this normal for the NV5600?

cheers,

Sean
