... there are any who DON'T think there is something WRONG with the way the selections for "featured Rig" selections for this site's lead page are determined, I submit the daily selections so far THIS month:



01/01/05 - Berserker

01/02/05 - csevers

01/03/05 - silverram03

01/04/05 - ICEMAN

01/05/05 - csevers

01/06/05 - csevers



Now, I gotta tell ya, when ONE member is featured *3* out of 6 days, SOMETHING really is in serious need of fixing...



Nothing at all against csevers - just reinforcement of a sore spot that has been pointed out and discussed in this forum several times in the past.



Nor do I particularly accept the notion and explanation that this occurs simply because the selections are automated, and a member who has many truck photos on file, has a better opportunity to hit the featured spot than a member who has only one.



I'm really not particularly interested in whether MY truck ever sees the light of day on this websites front page, this isn't and never HAS been about *me* - and I intend to REMOVE the 2 photos of my truck from the Reader's rigs gallery as soon as I hit the send button on this post to eliminate that suspicion - but still, it IS an honor to be selected and seen in that featured spot - and the obvious flaw in the way selections are currently made needs to be FIXED out of fairness and respect for ALL members of this board!

I already HAVE helped - I removed the 2 photos of my own truck from this boards photo section to lighten the load on the board "randomizer", and maybe help allow ACTUAL randomizing of choices - which we dern certain are NOT getting at present!



The only photos of my truck remaining are ones showing various mods, etc. , for viewing or use in board threads...



It (poor randomizing of Featured Rigs) seems to be purely a personal issue with me, since the rather obvious LACK of similar comments from other members indicates no one else particularly cares - so I will drop it...
