I just installed my edge drag comp chip and love it so far. I was wondering if it would be ok to run it on level 3 until. My truck is basically a stock 01 dodge auto with a 4 inch turbo back exhaust and a bhaf and was also wondering if level three will hurt the transmission?

At level 3 you will be doing the transmission shortly. In the EZ mode, it was last awhile, not on 2 or above. SNOKING

as suggested above, keep it under control, never right out stomp it unless u are able to monitor your rig, especially fuel pressure, just keep a tender foot and you should be alright, i always treat the truck as i wanna be treated but after every new toy i gotta see what it can do, as before im running an edge with a smarty, i tried the smarty on mild w/ edge lv 5 and within 3 seconds my fuel pressure was dropping to <5 soo i backed off, getting an airdog on wednesday installed soo maybe ill be able to tell a little more what it can do

Derrick, You need gauges bad... if you don't have them. Did you tap the VP44? If so your probably hot EGT's. The drag comp dumps fuel. Your transmission will not last, plan on a good rebuild probably 3-4k, to handle 750-1000 ftlbs. Don't go *** backwards on building the truck... I did... and it cost me more$$$

1- gauges

2- fuel system - fass, bd, etc.

3- transmission - run it until it starts slipp'in, but plan on spending some loot!

4- Most important -Match your comp with compatible injectors & turbo.

It depends on how far you want to go and what you want your truck to do. Once you start changing stock parts to performance there is a domino effect on all other parts also. If you don't tap the pump and keep it mild you will probably be ok for a while. Just trying to let you know my experiences!

2001 3/4 auto 4X4, upgraded suspension to a 1 ton, 4 inch MBRP turbo back exhaust, a j-hook, bhaf, and waiting for my pyrometer to arrive so that I can install my a pillar gauge pod with the boost and transmission temp.
