Installed tonight a FASS 95GPH without filters. Complete kit, pickup to oem filter. I've got 10lbs at idle and about 6lbs wide open. Thought I'd see more, would like to at least. Does this unit have a internal pressure regulator/bypass? Is it adjustable? I have not changed my main filter, but I do not suspect it. Any ideas or is this normal?

Something isn't right. You should be seeing more than twice that pressure. There is a pressure relief bypass valve inside with a small spring acting on a ball. FASS has supplied two different springs but the weaker one should give you around 14 psi at idle with very little drop as you open the throttle.

the fass II(95 gph pump only, not the original with the filters built on) seems to run consistantly at 17 psi at idle with good filter this is based on 8 installs and testing each one with snap on fuel pressure gauge at the pump.
