Thanks, TDR Staff

where do I get an HX40 downpipe flange?

self destructing pyrometer

After much reading and pm's from others I ordered a set of Mach 2's today from Rip.

I didn't read about any other 12v truck that had them, that ran at the 6000' level so I will let everyone know how they work.

I am excited, ----- HP. like 370's with lower EGT's and Smoke. How can you go wrong, if this is true. I haven't had any trouble with my DD2's and I like them, but we will see how they compare.

Rip said that he will call me for the delievery date, could be up to 4 weeks. He also said if I didn't like them he would buy them back. Sounds like a good business man to me.

Anyway, wanted to post this for those 12v guys thinking about changing.

Regards,

Lowell

I got a set for my early 91, they were a little warm, so I contacted Rip, and he had Don make another set for me that worked perfectly. They'll still smoke if I get on it, but nowhere near like the old stockers. Havent driven enough miles to test MPGs. Rip is an excellent guy to do business with; bends over backwards to make sure the customer is happy. Too bad guys like him are so few and far between. Outside of the few TDR vendors I've associated with, that is. :D

Nice to hear

Daniel,

Nice to hear that Rip and Don took care of you. Word of mouth and especially a forum like the TDR could break or make a vendor.

Rip just called on Sunday and said that my Mach2's would be about 3 weeks out.

Pretty impressive,----- most vendors wouldn't call, let alone on Sunday. I'm sure liking the service so far.

Lowell
