Just ordered Southbend Clutch for G56

I just ordered the MU 1947 Con OFE G56 clutch for my 06 CTD through performance diesel in Charleston SC and after talking to Peter from SBC on the phone. Should have it done by next Wednesday night, if ernesto doesn't hit us that is, and if anyone is interested I can give updates and tell you all how its working or if anyone has any opinions they will be much appreciated.

I have a similar setup, see my sig, will be interested to see how you like it. Mine is awesome, mother will flat out go, my attitude reads slip all the time but I think it's kinda screwy. Let me know how it goes and if your attitude still reads slip. BTW, I drove about 600 miles before ripping it good, to let it seat, I think that was correct.

JThacker, did your edge show slip with your stock clutch? Mine is showing nothing under normal load but when I get on it, even in level 1, it can slip 60-80% and if I am in any level higher I can hear it.

my stock clutch showed about the same amount of slip % as i can now produce with my OFE, however with the OFE I have never felt the clutch slip. I did feel it slip with the stock clutch. I think there is something inherently wrong with the mechanism by which the attitude monitors slip. There have been many posts about that here. Let me know how it goes. Jay
