Just had time to pull the head a few minutes ago. I think there may be a problem on #6 piston. I don't know for sure, I need your guys' opinions. It sure is oilly. I guess cause the gasket may have been leaking for a while. Truck has 210K and I believe it has never been touched. Anyways check it out. Still trying to get the resolutiuon down on the other pics. Look at my gallery.

Naw, its carbon... I just checked. All of the walls have the cross hatches still on them. I guess the gasket was leaking internally. Glad I got the truck cheap and had the money to go ahead and pull the head to have freshened up. I will send the head to the shop hopefully this weak and that will tell the tale if it has ever been hot or not.

JBlackwell it looks to me like it's OK compared to the others other than having oil on it.



If you overheated a cyliner there would be metal erosion & deterioration in an injector spray pattern.
