Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Just Purchased 94- Have Question

I just purchased a 94 (2500) with an Automatic (4x2) and was wondering what model transmission this truck would have? Also does anyone know if I can still purchase a shop manual from Mopar for this truck? Thanks, John

You have a 47RH transmission. In '96 the transmission model changed to the 47RE. The big difference is that the 47RH has a fly weight governor and the 47RE has an electronic governor.



You should be able to order a service manual from Dodge. I think they are also on line somewhere. Maybe someone who has the URL will chime in.
