Just ran out of FUEL

I just ran out of fule with the gauge reading just under a eighth tank. This happened once last fall but normally I have a lot of fuel at 1/8 tank. I'm ******. I was being an idiot and driving with the odometer reading 793miles but I was not the last to fill it up and made the stupid assumption that it had not been reset.



Off to get diesel

You mean to say that you got 793 miles out of one tank of fuel? WOW!!!!!! Even figuring a useable 35 gallons that is outstanding mileage. Sorry to hear about the running out part, bleeding injector lines on the side of the road sucks. Knock on wood, I have not done it on mine yet, but my turn will probably come too. When my fuel sender is needing replacement (3 times so far)I fill at 400 miles regardless of circumstances, at 400 miles I have never put in more than 27 gallons.

Well We got it going. Put in 5. 5 gallons to get it primed and drove 3 miles to put in 30. 627. For a grand total of 36. 127 gallons. 797. 3 miles on Odometer (845. 138 corrected for tires). That mileage is awesome to bad the fuel gauge told me I still had fuel



23. 39 mpg That is sweet but I still ran out for being an idiot
